My Anatomy Professor during my first year of the BOptom Bachelor of Optometry program at ESO Chennai turned 101 last week. Dr. S. Ramaswamy, who resides on Chamiers Road in Chennai, is credited and mentioned in the 37th edition of Grey's Anatomy for his discovery of the ganglion for the internal laryngeal nerve. With a remarkable life dedicated to medical education and academics, he is Professor Emeritus at the Elite School of Optometry Chennai.

His life is a true inspiration for everyone involved in medical and health care profession.
