Farewell, Dr. Bhuvaneshwaran, Retina to Rajarhat and Back to Rajinikanth

Farewell, Dr. Bhuvaneshwaran, Retina to Rajarhat and Back to Rajinikanth

What a journey it has been! You joined SN Kolkata six years ago as a promising DNB student, impressed us all with your fellowship in Uvea and Medical Retina, and grew into a valued associate consultant, bringing clarity not only to retinas but also to friendships. And now, you embark on a new chapter with SN Chennai.

Your departure leaves a void—who else will join me in exploring every South Indian cafĂ© in New Town or indulge in lively discussions ranging from ophthalmology to optometry, Tamil cinema to CSK’s ups and downs? (Although, let's be honest, KKR is the team to beat these days.)

Our shared moments at Bharathi Tamil Sangam, Thyagaraja Hall, and the Pongal celebrations at Swabhumi will be fondly remembered.

Chennai may have drawn you back with the allure of sambar and Rajinikanth posters, but Kolkata will always hold a unique place—with its warmth, community, and, of course, the best mishti. Wishing you all the best in this new phase.
