Sree Guruvayurappan Temple, Kolkata 🙏🕉️

Sree Guruvayurappan Temple holds a special place in my heart, as it was here in the divine presence of Lord Sree Guruvayurappan that my son’s Annaprashan ceremony was performed in 2006 🍚✨. The temple, located at 3/1/1A, Nakuleswar Bhattacharjee Lane, Kolkata - 700026, near the iconic Kalighat Kali Temple, is a serene spiritual haven 🌸. Established through the efforts of Thirunamacharyyan Br. Sree Anjam Madhavan Namboodiri 🙌, the temple’s foundation stone was laid by H.H. Kanchi Kamakoti Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal on January 17, 1987 🪔, and the Pratishta ceremony was conducted on January 31, 1995 🌿.

Marking a major milestone, the temple will host the Inauguration of its Renovated Wing and Punar Pratishta of Goddess Durga, coinciding with its 30th Pratishta Anniversary and the Maha Sahasra Kalasam, from 22nd to 29th January 2025. Highlights include:

Inauguration: 22nd January 2025, 5 PM to 8 PM

Punar Pratishta: 25th January 2025, 6:30 AM to 7 AM

Maha Sahasra Kalasam: 29th January 2025, from 7 AM onwards

Cultural Programs: Daily from 6 PM onwards 🎶

Dedicated to Lord Sree Guruvayurappan (Krishna) 🕊️, the temple also enshrines Lord Ganapathy, Lord Ayyappa, Goddess Bhagawathi, and Lord Hanuman 🙏. Reflecting traditional Kerala temple architecture 🌴, it serves as a vibrant hub for spiritual and cultural activities 💖.

I invite all to participate in these auspicious events, embracing the divine blessings and vibrant heritage of this temple 🌺.
