Strengthening Global Partnerships in Optometry: Visit of the University of Western Australia and Equal Health to Sankara Nethralaya Kolkata and SNESO Kolkata on 23rd February 2025

It was a pleasure to host the distinguished teams from the University of Western Australia (UWA)—ranked among the top 100 universities globally and celebrated for its significant contributions to Optometry and Vision Science—at Sankara Nethralaya Kolkata and the Sankara Nethralaya Elite School of Optometry Kolkata today.

Headquartered in Perth, UWA is internationally acclaimed for its excellence in education, groundbreaking research, and impactful collaborations.

Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Anuradha Narayanan, Principal, ESO Chennai and Kolkata, and the Sankara Nethralaya management for their steadfast support. We eagerly look forward to forging meaningful collaborations in community eye care and academic placements in the times ahead!
