The beginning of human life itself starts in the womb of a woman. That womb stands as the symbol of birth, love, and sacrifice. In that sense, the word “Mother” is infused with a flood of emotions. Love, care, embrace, affection, devotion, and sacrifice—all these emotions converge at a single point, making the mother the one true living deity.
A child’s first dream takes the form of a cry for “Amma.” The first nourishment, first safety, first fear, first trust, first guide—all come through the touch, voice, and vision of a mother. No matter how high a human may rise, the roots of love and affection always remain soaked in the tears of a mother’s eyes.
A mother’s love is not just worthy of reverence—it is the spiritual light that plants the seeds for every stage of life. In every language, every religion, every civilization across the world, the mother is seen as a divine figure beyond comparison. A mother’s love is a great sacrificial fire—within it lies compassion, tolerance, and patience, which become the strength to endure life’s many hardships.
In the shade of the immortal mother…
No matter how many poets have written about mothers, it still feels like we are only at the beginning. Her love, her gaze, her words—all are scriptures in their own right. We’ve realized that a home without a mother is not a home at all.
A mother’s smile is like a child having a conversation with the stars. Behind that smile lies silent suffering, sacrifice, and tireless work—which is what makes that smile truly divine.
If one cannot see God in human form, then one can surely see it in the form of a mother. The only form truly deserving of the title “Living God” is that of a mother.

All the sacred blessings of life come as divine grace from a mother’s heart. On this Mother’s Day, let us all humbly bow before our mothers’ feet and remember the countless sacrifices they made for us. Whatever we may have achieved in life, behind it stood a mother.
"Amma" is not just a word. It is a way of life. It is not merely a thought—it is a spiritual experience. In it, we see God. In it, we see the power that protects the world.
